Description:

We are looking for a Solution Engineer to join our team remotely from Hungary or Slovakia . As a Solutions Engineer, you design, calculate and implement solution engineering projects of all sizes (footprint/revenue) with up to medium complexity within an international logistics environment, supporting new business and contract renewals for a specific industry vertical. The purpose is to create a solution according to the requirements of the customer sent by RFI/RFQ or other requests. In this role, you are responsible for the RFQ tender phase including process design, headcount calculation, layout, costing & pricing, input for customer presentations and coordinating internal stakeholders.

YOUR KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Economics, (Industrial) Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field;
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Logistics or Supply Chain, ideally in project and tender management, contract logistics and/or warehouse design;
  • Good understanding and high affinity for numbers and mathematics with experience in process planning and project management calculations;
  • Excellent communication skills, professional working proficiency in the English and Hungarian or Slovakian language is a must;
  • Advanced MS Office skills: Excel (VBA is a plus), PowerPoint and Word. Proficiency with CAD programs, Warehouse Management Systems, Data Visualization and ERP systems is a big plus;
  • High level of analytical thinking and problem solving skills by working collaboratively on team projects with internal stakeholders (i.e. Finance, IT, HR, Legal, Operations, Procurement, QEHS and Security) and external stakeholders (customers, integrators and suppliers), and throughout all management levels;
  • Structured way or working with the ability to manage a variety of projects while keeping track of timelines and budget;
  • MTM/MOST certification is preferred;
  • Based and authorized to work in Hungary or Romania, possession of a valid driver’s license and car is strongly desired;
  • Ability and willingness to work remote, as well as to travel frequently in the Eastern Europe region to provide on-site implementation support on newly launched projects.
