DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role The Solutions Engineer will undertake the implementation of multiple cybersecurity/network products at the L1/2 level, encompassing tasks such as installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support for the assigned cybersecurity/networks product. This position is ideal for an individual with some basic knowledge to post-sales, netwoks As the Solution Engineer, you will be : 1. Deployment Support Assist in the installation, configuration, and deployment of cybersecurity solutions Support implementation activities based on approved designs and guidance from senior engineers Participate in testing, validation, and system checks 2. Project Delivery Support project execution to ensure timely and quality delivery Prepare and maintain basic documentation (implementation notes, diagrams, reports) Participate in customer handover and knowledge transfer sessions 3. Technical Support (L1) Provide Level 1 troubleshooting and issue resolution Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required Assist in monitoring and maintaining deployed systems 4. Learning & Development Actively learn and build competency across cybersecurity domains Work towards vendor certifications and technical skill development Participate in internal labs, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions 5. Team & Partner Collaboration Work closely with presales, senior engineers, and partners Support partners during deployment activities where required QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you The ideal Solutions Engineer: Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field 0–2 years of experience (fresh graduates are welcome) Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, routing, firewall concepts) Strong interest in cybersecurity and hands-on technical work Willingness to learn and work in a project-based environment only hiring Singaporeans (due to project and regulatory requirements) Technical Exposure (Training Provided) Candidates will gain exposure to: Network Security (Firewalls, SASE) Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR) Application Delivery & Security: F5 (LTM, ASM / WAAP basics) Cloud Security (CASB, basic cloud security concepts) Identity Security (MFA, IAM basics) DNS / DDI solutions Exposure to vendors such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, CrowdStrike, Netskope, Okta, F5, and Infoblox is a plus but not mandatory.
