Description

Description:
We’re looking for our next bold leader – a Solution Engineer (Healthcare SaaS) – to join our quest to provide market-transforming solutions for businesses, care teams and consumers to interactively manage health and care.
At Medecision, you’ll have the chance to work with people that have incredible intellect, who are hard-wired for problem-solving. You’ll also know that you’re making a real difference, and not just in some abstract, corporate-mission-statement kind of way. We’re working with companies that touch millions of lives every day, maybe even saving a few along the way. Each person contributes uniquely to our mission and our ability to raise the level of experience we provide to all our customers and colleagues. The role of Solution Engineer is no different, and in fact, plays a key role in our journey to innovate solutions that solve real problems for our clients.

REQUIRED SOFT SKILLS:

Communication skills: Articulating complex technical concepts in an understandable way to clients and stakeholders
Client relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships, understanding client needs, and providing tailored solutions
Adaptability: Adjusting to new challenges and changes in technology or project requirements swiftly

REQUIRED HARD SKILLS

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of relevant technologies, including software, hardware, and cloud platforms
Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking to identify customer needs and design effective solutions
Systems analysis: Evaluating and integrating complex system components to develop cohesive and efficient technological solutions
Follow and comply with all security policies and procedures established by the organization, including adherence to HIPAA and HITRUST regulations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of proven experience as a Solutions Engineer or similar role, preferably within the Healthtech software industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions. Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Direct experience with working with prospects, uncovering problems to be solved and demonstrating product capabilities to match needs
  • A track record of successfully leading and closing complex sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement solutions that solve customer challenges. Experience with cloud technologies and platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Background in data analytics or business intelligence solutions.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge and ability to describe systems integration, APIs, and data workflows.
  • Certification in relevant cloud technologies (e.g., GCP Associate Cloud Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud DevOps, etc.) is highly desirable. Working knowledge with AI (such as ChatGPT, Gemini) and data analysis tools for day-to-day research and part of daily task completion
