POSITION SUMMARY

The Solution Engineer (SE) supports Channel Account Managers (CAM) in a presales effort to sell cloud solutions in Productivity, Continuity, Security, Infrastructure and Operations categories to Managed Service Providers (MSPs) of all levels, in various industries, across Australia and New Zealand. The Solution Engineer will deliver pre-sales cloud product demonstration experiences to our Partners as well as post-sales deployment and configuration assistance.
This role can be based in Melbourne, Victoria.

IDEAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Minimum 2 years technical and/or pre-sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of RMM and PSA technologies.
  • Genuine passion for customer service and an ability to troubleshoot deployments in an unknown ecosystem.
  • Strong interest in learning new and challenging platforms
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information and concepts in layman’s terms.
  • Have the skill to communicate complex concepts in simple terms.
  • Are undaunted by troubleshooting deployments in unknown ecosystems.
  • Have a certification in any 1 of the following areas: Microsoft MS900, MS100, MS101, AZ900, CompTIA A+, Security+, Network+.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrating the technical and commercial value of a selection of Pax8 Solutions.
  • Driving initial configuration and architecture guidance for a variety of customer environments.
  • Assisting partners with proof-of-concept deployments and responding to RFIs.
  • Working closely with our Sales team as a subject matter expert for a particular product set.
  • Conduct product demonstrations that articulate the technical and organisational value of the solution.
  • Present in-person and remote training sessions for sales teams and our partner community.
  • Works with the vendor to establish product specific cadence calls.
  • Complete necessary learning to validate skillset through industry wide certifications.
