Position Overview

This isn’t just a behind-the-scenes engineering role — it’s a chance to architect, implement, and support advanced solutions across networking, security, cloud, and systems. You’ll work hands-on with best-in-class platforms (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, VMware, Nutanix, Microsoft 365, Azure, HPE/Aruba, and more) while collaborating directly with Solution Architects, Account Executives, and Project Managers to deliver results that drive business outcomes.
From pre-sales discovery through deployment and ongoing support, you’ll help customers modernize, secure, and optimize their environments — making you a trusted technical partner every step of the way.
What You’ll Do

Pre-Sales Support

• Partner with Solution Architects and Account Executives to understand customer needs and shape technical solutions.
• Participate in technical presentations, addressing customer challenges with tailored recommendations.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to guide clients toward future-ready solutions.

Implementation & Deployment

• Design and deploy solutions across networking, security, servers, storage, and cloud.
• Configure and integrate platforms such as Cisco/Meraki, Fortinet, VMware, Nutanix, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
• Build hybrid and cloud integrations that maximize scalability and security.
• Validate solutions through testing, documentation, and seamless knowledge transfer.

Operations & Support

• Provide advanced support for deployed solutions — troubleshooting complex issues across systems and networks.
• Monitor environments, optimize performance, and ensure security compliance.
• Work within SLAs and KPIs to deliver exceptional customer service.

Service Development & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to evolve Razor’s service portfolio.
• Research emerging technologies and contribute to new service offerings.
• Create technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and training resources.
• Leverage customer feedback to enhance solutions and service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, systems, or network engineering.
• Strong expertise in Cisco networking (IOS, Catalyst, Meraki, Nexus).
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager).
• Familiarity with HPE/Aruba networking, servers, and storage.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure).
• Solid understanding of protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS) and systems concepts (virtualization, storage, DR).
• Proficiency with monitoring/management tools (Auvik, OpsRamp, Prism).
• Preferred certifications: CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, HPE ASE, Microsoft (or equivalent).
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
