Sprout Social is looking to hire Solutions Engineer to join our Customer Experience team, based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Partner with Account Executives to provide full deal support (prospecting, technical discovery, demoing and more)
  • Own the technical elements of the RFP and security documentation processes
  • Serve as a technical expert in all Sprout products and features for our customers as well as the broader Solutions Engineering team and company
  • Break down complex topics into easily-digestible takeaways for your audience

The minimum qualifications for this role include:

  • 3+ years of tech/SaaS experience, with 1+ years in a Solutions Engineer role (or similar) partnering with Account Executives and selling into Corporate customers
  • Experience demonstrating a software platform (Making presentations

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • Understanding of social networks (in particular: Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn) and social media strategy
  • Understanding Influencer marketing and how organizations and brands leverage social.
  • Experience presenting to Marketing and Social Media Professionals including Directors/VPs of Marketing and CMOs
  • Understanding of all components of a software sales proces

Within 12 months, you’ll make this role your own by:

  • Be someone who is held in high regard by their peers and the Account Executives you support.
  • Be a contributor to the broader Solutions Engineering team and help to create training materials for the Sales team and onboard new Solutions Engineers
