As a Solutions Engineer, you'll work closely with our Sales, Product, Network, and Delivery teams to design and validate customer solutions across connectivity, voice, and cloud infrastructure services. You'll act as a trusted advisor to our wholesale customers, helping them navigate technical challenges while ensuring solutions are commercially viable, scalable, and aligned to their business objectives. Designing and validating solutions across internet carriage services including NBN, Ethernet, Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), data center connectivity, and voice products. Partnering with our Sales team and wholesale customers to understand requirements and develop high-quality solution designs, proposals, presentations, and technical documentation. Identifying customer needs and recommending the products and services that will help their businesses grow. Representing Symbio in strategic customer engagements, workshops, and industry events. Conducting technical research, solution modelling, proof-of-concepts, and deployment planning activities. Collaborating with Product, Network, and Delivery teams to ensure solutions are technically feasible, supportable, and commercially aligned. Identifying risks and solution gaps early in the pre-sales lifecycle and ensuring smooth handovers to delivery and provisioning teams. Building trusted relationships with customers through technical expertise, responsiveness, and a customer-first mindset. If you like the sound of that, here's what we'd love to see Experience in a Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, Network Engineer, Voice Engineer, or similar technical customer-facing role. Strong knowledge of telecommunications, networking, or IT infrastructure environments. Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals, internet services, private WAN technologies, Ethernet services, and data centre connectivity. Experience designing customer solutions and translating technical concepts into business outcomes. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong organisational and time management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Relevant qualifications and/or practical experience in networking, telecommunications, voice engineering, or related technologies. Ready to join?
