Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Qt Group is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering team. In this role, you will provide pre-sales technical support to regional sales teams, delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations. You will play a key role in all phases of the technical sales cycle.
As a Solutions Engineer, you will engage with engineering leaders at the Director and VP level, showcasing the value of Qt’s tools and technologies. Your consultative approach will help customers address development challenges and achieve meaningful business outcomes.
Possible locations for this position are in one of our European offices: Espoo, Finland; Oslo, Norway; Berlin, Germany; Paris, France; or Munich, Germany.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Directly responsible for teaming with the sales team through all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Understand technical customer requirements and find solutions together with Product Management / R&D.
  • Provide strategic and senior level product presentations, demonstrations and trade show support.
  • Follow up on prospects and accounts for functional/technical issues related to sales cycle and guarantee a successful customer experience.
  • Manage product evaluations and prepare RFP/RFI responses.
  • Coordinate the technical training of the sales teams.
  • Identify the need for additional sales, training and consulting.
