KeepIt is growing, and we are looking for a Solutions Engineering Manager for the DACH region to help bring our backup services to more customers and realize our growth ambitions.
The Solutions Engineering team plays an essential part in this by supporting our sales team in closing deals. This requires us to be knowledgeable about the implementation of our service, and how it can bring value to our customers.
As a Solutions Engineering Manager for DACH, you will play a crucial role in driving customer satisfaction through excellent service, while also leading and inspiring a team of solution engineers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and develop your team, ensuring they are well-equipped to assist our sales teams in recruiting and onboarding new customers. You will set clear goals, provide mentorship, and foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
In addition to team management, you will engage directly with customers and partners, effectively communicating technical information and demonstrating how our services can solve specific customer problems. As a Solutions Engineering Manager, you should be adept at navigating both technical and commercial stakeholders, providing strategic guidance to your team to meet and exceed customer expectations.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience delivering technical and business presentations to varied audiences, ranging from small groups to large, high-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead solution engineering team in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent communication, leadership and coaching skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Expert at managing multiple decision-makers to drive proposal outcomes.
  • A commercial mindset focused on building positive relationships with both customers and colleagues with in-depth knowledge of SaaS selling.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a highly collaborative team.
  • Excellent English communication skills with proficiency in German.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit and growth mindset.
  • Willingness to travel 50-75%.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor your team in collaborating closely with the sales team to recruit customers, with a primary focus on the DACH-region. You will ensure your team is strategically aligned with sales goals and provide guidance to optimize recruitment efforts.
  • Oversee and manage the execution of technical validations (POCs, trials) by your team, ensuring high-quality, customized technical presentations and product demos. You will also provide strategic direction and feedback to continually improve these processes.
  • Take a leadership role in public speaking, webinars, and content creation to highlight Keepit’s value proposition and technological leadership. Additionally, you will coach your team to enhance their presentation skills and public engagement.
  • Supervise and coordinate the transition from technical validation to customer activation, ensuring a smooth handover to the support team. You will establish clear processes and accountability within your team to maintain high standards during this critical phase.
    You will be joining our team of passionate sales professionals and IT entrepreneurs and report directly to our Global VP of Go-to-market.
