Solutions R&D projects are typically fast paced and diverse in terms of technology stack. For each project, a dedicated team is established that matches the specific requirements of the project. Solutions R&D staff therefore operates in a highly dynamic environment.
The Senior .NET Software Developer (m/f/d) to join our R&D team in Waldbronn, Germany will work on Digital Lab Solutions projects that require experience in .NET (typically C#). The majority of these projects will focus on the OpenLab CDS product, its APIs and typically, require specialized technical skills, for which there will be close collaboration with expert team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, bioinformatics, medical technology software engineering or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in object-oriented software development
  • Full-stack development inclination
  • Strong affinity with immaculate code, a good understanding of programming best practices, and a high level of knowledge in the .NET Core / Framework ecosystem
  • Knowledge of C#
  • Eager to learn and willing to keep up to date with the most recent developments in software
  • Work well independently, have a strong sense of initiative, and think analytically to pre-empt and resolve problems
  • WPF, WCF, ASP, Angular, OpenAPI (Swagger) are some other technologies we are using. Experience with a number of these is expected
  • Knowledge of the foundations of the Software Development Life Cycle and the SCRUM methodology
  • Experience with the use of NUnit, NHibernate, Git and Jira
  • Knowledge of fundamental software design patterns
  • Knowledge of the OpenLab software ecosystem is an advantage
  • Fluent English skills
