Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales & Proposal Executive/Engineer to support our sales team in the Analyzer Systems business. This role involves preparing technical and commercial proposals, managing customer inquiries, coordinating with internal teams, and assisting in achieving business growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in process analyzers, instrumentation, or industrial automation and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal Preparation: Develop comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for process analyzers, spare parts and systems integration based on customer requirements. * Sales Support: Assist in responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotations, and ensuring timely follow-ups on submitted proposals. Monthly follow up with regional sales manager for bids status and forecast of Order Intake (OI). * Technical Coordination: Work closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams to gather the necessary technical and cost inputs for proposals. * Customer Engagement: Maintain communication with clients to clarify technical and commercial aspects of proposals and address queries effectively. * CRM & Documentation: Maintain sales records, update CRM systems, and ensure all proposal-related documents are well-organized and accessible. * Cost Estimation: Assist in preparing cost breakdowns and pricing strategies to ensure competitive and profitable proposals. * Follow-ups & Negotiation: Engage with clients to track the progress of submitted proposals and assist in negotiations where required. * Internal Coordination: Liaise with principals, suppliers, and partners to obtain quotations and technical information for proposal development. * Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all proposals adhere to company policies, industry standards, and customer specifications.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical) or any related technical discipline. * Experience: At least 3–5 years of experience in sales, proposal preparation, or technical sales support, preferably in process analyzers, industrial automation, or instrumentation. * Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with process analyzers(gas, liquid, and moisture analyzers), sample handling systems, and analyzer shelters is an advantage. * Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM tools. * Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for proposal writing, reporting work and customer interaction. (Both English and Mandarin) * Attention to Detail: Ability to handle multiple proposals simultaneously with accuracy and efficiency. * Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
