We’re seeking a highly skilled Solutions System Engineer in the HLS field who has the business knowledge and technical expertise to implement strategies, evaluate products, and build a tailored technical solution that supports the changing needs of our customers. Our system engineers design, develop, and integrate complex work systems for every stage of a projects lifecycle. The ideal candidate will ensure that Magal reliably delivers mission-critical infrastructure and systems with an eye toward security, safety, and operations Responsibilities Pre-Sales Activities Gather customers technical requirements Prepare and present Go No Go to management team. Prepare and present project budget to management team. Understand the customer needs and position our products as a solution to address requirements and provide business value Research and source complimentary technologies and solutions needed for customer solution Prepare technical solution concept Present a solution to the customer Provide insight on competitive solutions and differentiate between them Lead Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) Respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs including costing and technical response Technical Management of projects – Full responsibility of all Engineering aspects of the project Review and approve project technical documentation such as layouts and diagrams Monitor and coordinate all engineering activities for the project. Including Integration, R&D and product departments. Full responsibility of all technical solution of the project starting with the pricing to the handover phase. Compile and prepare CDR and present as needed to customer Monitor systems integration Monitor FAT and/or iFAT process Respond to change requests and/ or extra scope Participate in site visits as needed for technical issues, SAT, etc. Requirements At least 4+ years in a multi-disciplinary system engineering role. Hebrew and English at a high business level Complete proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint Able to travel according to business needs Ability to effectively communicate to all customer levels from C-Level downwards What will be an advantage: Experience in the HLS and/or physical security markets Proficiency in a 3rd language Bachelor's degree/practical engineer in engineering/electricity or electronics Location: Yehud - relocating to Modi’in within approximately six months, with one remote workday per week.

Responsibilities

The Solutions System Engineer will handle pre-sales activities, including gathering requirements, preparing budgets, and presenting technical solutions to customers. They will also take full technical responsibility for projects, monitoring integration, reviewing documentation, and managing the solution from pricing through handover.
