We are currently seeking a passionate and highly skilled Sommelier to elevate our guests’ experience at Castlemartyr Resort.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS IS ESSENTIAL:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a 5 Star Hotel as a Sommelier
• Advanced certification in wine studies (e.g., Master Sommelier, Certified Sommelier) strongly preferred.

• Collaborate closely with the restaurant team to pair wines with menu items and create memorable dining experiences for guests.
• Proficiency in cellar management, inventory control, and financial analysis.
• Uphold impeccable standards of service and hospitality, consistently exceeding guest expectations and fostering a culture of excellence among the staff.
• Build key relationships with suppliers to ensure a creative wine list whilst achieving financial targets.
