SUMMER SALT CRONULLA

Summer Salt is currently recruiting for Sommeliers to join our friendly and motivated team.
Summer Salt is open 7 days for lunch and dinner

Some of your main duties will include, but are not limited to the following -

  • Working with Front and Back of House Managers to develop wine list
  • Advising customers on wine pairing with food, occasion and budget
  • Assisting Front of House staff, with taking of drink orders and serving guests at the appropriate time
  • Responsible for training other restaurant staff on the wine list and food pairing
  • Managing restaurant wine cellar

We are looking for candidates with the following qualities:

  • Certificate III in Hospitality and/or at least 18 – 24 months experience;
  • Ability to multi-task, to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure;
  • Reliable, punctual and trust worthy;
  • High standard of personal presentation and hygiene;
  • Must work well in a team environment;
  • Positive attitude and passion for cooking;
  • Sound understanding of HACCP & Food and Safety Regulations & requirements;
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

Job Type: Permanent Full-time
Salary Package: $75,000 to $85,000 plus Super depending on qualifications and experience.
