NEW POSTING Position: Sonographer Dept/Health System: Paediatrics (Cardiac Diagnostic Services) Posting ID: 6670 Role Level: Allied Technical AT09.3 $37.95 to $53.32/ per hour Status: Casual (1) Site: Credit Valley Hospital but have the flexibility to work and be reassigned to all Trillium Health Partner sites Hours of Work/Shifts: Monday thru Friday, and Weekends Posted: April 5, 2026 Internal Deadline: April 12, 2026 Position Summary: * Perform 2D, m-mode, color flow echocardiograms for non-invasive diagnosis and assessment of cardiovascular disease in children and infants at any of the THP sites * Assist with transesophageal echoes (TEE’s) and contrast studies * Maintain accurate records of tests performed * Assist with statistical data and quality assurance for echo lab * Ensure equipment is functioning properly and maintain adequate supplies * Maintains a safe work environment for co-workers, patients and visitors * Collaborate with other team members to optimize use of available resources * Ensure a patient-centered environment Qualifications: THP is committed to internal talent, and therefore priority will be given to internal applicants. * Current Registration with a recognized credentialing organization (CARDUP/ARDMS) * Must be registered with CMRITO on an annual basis * Practical previous experience in paediatric echocardiography is required * Experience with stress echocardiograms is an asset * Experience with transesophageal echocardiograms and contrast echocardiograms is an asset * Current BCLS & CPR certification * Ability to work independently as well as a member of a dynamic team * Demonstrated effective decision making skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with excellent patient care skills * A service excellence attitude is essential * Strong organizational skills combined with effective problem solving abilities * Positive work and attendance record is essential To pursue this career opportunity, please visit our website: www.trilliumhealthpartners.ca [http://www.trilliumhealthpartners.ca/] Trillium Health Partners’ (THP) is an equal opportunity employer who values the importance of antiracism work and is committed to integrating antiracism, diversity, equity and inclusion best practices throughout THP operations, policies and culture.
