The role includes preparing patients, operating ultrasound equipment, capturing high-quality images, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and experienced in various types of sonographic procedures. Key Responsibilities * Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment for procedures. * Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and small parts (as applicable). * Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients. * Capture, analyze, and document diagnostic images and provide preliminary technical impressions. * Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and the medical team to ensure accurate image interpretation and patient care. * Maintain accurate patient records and complete documentation in the electronic medical record system (EMR). * Ensure compliance with CorePlus protocols, HIPAA regulations, and safety standards. * Perform regular cleaning and basic maintenance of ultrasound equipment. * Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives. * Attend required trainings, certifications, and staff meetings.    Qualifications Education: Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or completion of an accredited ultrasound technician program. Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred. Proficient in general and/or vascular sonography. Skills & Abilities: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to handle sensitive patient interactions with compassion. * High level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Fluent in Spanish and English (oral and written). * Proficient in using PACS and EMR systems. WORKING CONDITIONS Clinical/lab environment with exposure to patients and medical equipment.
