Operate all ultrasound systems across Barwon Health.  Display leadership by example and experience Assist with on-going practical supervision and training of students.   Key responsibilities  Provide expert ultrasound imaging services, independently performing complex examinations and taking full responsibility for image quality, documentation, and presentation for radiologist reporting. Operate as an advanced practitioner and clinical leader, demonstrating extensive knowledge, professionalism, and flexibility while acting as a role model and supporting best practice across the ultrasound team. Ensure patient safety, compliance, and quality standards, following identification protocols and practicing in accordance with ASAR, ASUM, and Barwon Health policies and procedures. Support education, training, and service development, including mentoring trainees and students, contributing to clinical protocols, and undertaking special projects as required by management.   What we’re looking for  Successfully completed a post graduate qualification in ultrasound (e.g. DMU or university graduate diploma) Registered with the Australian Sonographer Association Registry (ASAR) Excellent time management, communication skills, teaching, and professionalism. The Grade 4 Sonographer must demonstrate competence and expertise across a number of areas of ultrasound.
