We are looking for a skilled Sonographer to perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, contributing to accurate diagnosis and high-quality patient care. Role Summary: As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for carrying out diagnostic ultrasound examinations across various specialties including general, abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular and small parts imaging. You'll work closely with Radiologists and other clinicians to ensure timely and accurate reporting while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality ultrasound scans in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards. Assess image quality and provide preliminary observations to support diagnostic decisions Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process clearly and compassionately Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation of findings Ensure equipment is used safely, maintained properly, and faults are reported promptly Collaborate with the wider radiology team and participate in service improvement initiatives Requirements: Degree or MSc in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound DHA, DOH or MOH license Minimum 3 years' post qualification experience in a hospital or clinic setting Proficiency in a range of ultrasound specialties (multi modality preferred) Excellent communication skills and a strong patient-focused approach Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems and digital imaging workflows
