Description Sonographer Job Description Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our team. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images for medical interpretation. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic images for our patients. Essential Functions and Qualifications * Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography OB/GYN or related field * Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent * Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sonographer * CPR/BLS certified. * Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Attention to detail and ability to multitask. * Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures. * Ability to work at a computer and on your feet for extended periods. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. * Strong organizational skills and mindfulness * Effective communication skills to interact professionally. * Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information. * Work is performed in a medical office setting using standard medical equipment. The risk of exposure to blood and bodily fluids is present. Sonographer Responsibilities * Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using specialized equipment. * Obtain and record patient history and clinical data. * Performs exams with technical accuracy and in a timely manner. * Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians. * Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. * Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality. * Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. * Accurately uses ECW and Tricefy software. * Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities. * Travel to other locations, as needed. * Other duties, as assigned.
