Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients to ensure comfort and understanding throughout exams. Collaborate closely with physicians during invasive procedures, following all safety and universal protocol standards. Operate, maintain, and disinfect ultrasound equipment according to departmental and safety guidelines. Accurately document, code, and archive imaging studies for interpretation and reporting. Work as part of a supportive, interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional care. Completion of formal training in an Ultrasound program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) required. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Completion of formal training in an Ultrasound program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) required. RDMS registered or registry eligible preferred. Completion of Physics portion of registry preferred. Must obtain RDMS within 12 months of hire date.
