We Are Hiring Location: Pensacola, FL Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Outpatient Imaging Department/Speciality: Diagnostic Imaging Schedule: Day Shift | 7:30 am - 5 pm l Full-time | Must travel to all locations including Perdido, Summit, Tiger Point, Milestone What You Will Do Perform diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing quality images for interpretation. Set up and adjust all equipment and manually maneuvers transducers to perform exams. Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations. Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history). What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
