Job Description Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring Packers to contribute to our Operations team in Fort Wayne, IN. Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 am to 5:30 pm Plus daily/weekend overtime (including Sundays) as needed Starting pay $16.50/hr! Want to join a key team that helps the world read? What You’ll Do: Check for damages and verifies data on customer order including entry number and number of books while packing order Determine the proper packing method for various size orders to arrange books in the most compact manner onto corrugated cardboard boxes, t-boards, or flats according to allowable weights for method of shipping Push completed orders onto conveyor to continue through shrink wrap machinery Qualifications 6 months continuous work experience Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 50lbs during the assigned shift – 10lbs or less continuously and 11-20lbs frequently, and up to 50lbs occasionally Ability to push/pull in a warehouse environment up to 20lbs force during the assigned shift – 10lbs or less frequently and 11-20lbs occasionally.
