Job Details Job Location: TX-Kerrville TS - Kerrville, TX 78028 Education Level: High School Diploma/GED Job Category: Store Schedule/Hours: Part-time hours 5 days per week may include Saturday This position is responsible for: receiving, sorting, pricing, and preparing donated items for display in the store; determining the suitability and pricing of items based on established standards; assisting in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the store and sorting room area. Key Responsibilities: Duty 1: Receives, inspects, and sorts donated items such as clothes, shoes, household items, bric-a-brack, etc., according to the category and condition; selects items suitable for store display and distributes the same to the appropriate area for further sorting and/or pricing; discards items in accordance with established procedures. Duty 2: Tags items with specially coded tickets and/or prices in accordance with established procedures; hangs clothes on hangers and places them on clothes racks. Duty 3: Cleans all display racks and shelves; Sweeps and mops floor, cleans windows and mirrors, ensures that the store is maintained in a clean and inviting manner. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Duties are usually performed standing. Standing may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting. Moderate physical effort required associated with sitting, walking, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying light to heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.). Work is performed in a normal warehouse environment where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
