As a Soulster, your job is to create memorable moments for every guest while keeping the vibrant, laid-back vibe that defines Edley’s hospitality. You’ll help guide guests through our menu of fresh, scratch-made tacos, chips, and sides, making sure every experience is fast, friendly, and full of Southern soul. Soulsters are often the first and last people our guests interact with, which means your energy sets the tone. Whether you’re behind the counter, delivering food, or sending out to-go orders, you’ll play a huge role in making Edley’s Tacos the neighborhood spot everyone loves coming back to. Soulster Roles & Responsibilities Food Runner Ensures all plates are complete, garnished, and accurate before delivery. Brings dishes to guests promptly and ensures they have everything they need — sauces, silverware, or a friendly smile. Guest Experience Keeps an eye on the dining room to anticipate guest needs. Handles refills, bussing, to-go boxes, and drink orders (using handheld or B-Bot). Brings the Edley’s vibe to every table through conversation, connection, and service with soul. Floor Maintains clean, stocked, and reset tables at all times. Keeps beverage stations, restrooms, and busser stations tidy and well-stocked. Runs dishes to the dish pit and ensures the dining area always looks its best. Cashier (LV2 Soulster Role) Provides friendly, fast, and accurate service at the counter. Confidently guides guests through the menu and processes payments correctly. Builds genuine connections with guests — never robotic, always real. ‘Que Line Welcomes guests as they arrive and thanks them as they leave. Helps guests navigate the line and ordering process. Shares expert menu knowledge, offers samples, and makes recommendations. Keeps the entrance area organized and ensures guests start their visit with a great impression. Takeout QC (LV2 Soulster Role) Takes and confirms to-go orders (by phone or in person). Assembles and double-checks all takeout orders for accuracy and completeness. Ensures timely order prep and keeps the to-go area stocked and organized. Delivers the same warm, “Service with Soul” hospitality to every takeout guest.
