In this role, you will be responsible for managing the sound production for all on-air content, ensuring high-quality audio throughout the broadcast. You will work closely with our presenters, producers, and programming team to create flawless sound experiences.

JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities :

  • Operate and maintain sound equipment, including mixers, microphones, and digital audio workstations.
  • Ensure the technical quality of live and pre-recorded broadcasts, making real-time adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with presenters and producers to achieve the desired sound for shows, music tracks, and advertisements.
  • Record, edit, and mix audio content for broadcasts, ensuring clear and professional audio output.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to sound equipment during live shows or recording sessions.
  • Maintain and manage the station’s audio archives, ensuring all content is properly stored and accessible.
  • Work with the programming and production teams to integrate sound effects, music beds, and jingles into broadcasts.Stay up-to-date with the latest sound engineering technologies and industry trends to continually improve the quality of our broadcasts.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Sound Engineer or Audio Technician, preferably in a radio, television, or live production environment.
  • Strong understanding of sound equipment, including mixing consoles, microphones, and digital audio software.
  • Proficiency in audio editing and mixing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, or similar).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, especially during live broadcasts.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality audio production.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Passion for music, entertainment, and broadcast media.
