  • This job is based in Guelph and will require various in-person settings and activities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work from home at times

  • Strong organizational habits
  • Strong people skills, with customer service or fundraising experience
  • Computer skills, including social media and Microsoft Office
  • Strong English communication skills, including writing
  • Experience with marketing, graphic design and/ or social media
  • Willingness to complete a criminal background check
  • A G license and comfort driving a cargo van is required

Responsibilities
  • Develop an annual plan in partnership with The SEED Manager
  • Lead The SEED’s Souper Heroes community fundraising efforts, including:
  • Manage schedule of craft markets and in-person sales opportunities in October-December
  • Assist in the planning of soup packing and sourcing ingredients to ensure adequate stock
  • maintaining inventory of supplies and raw ingredients
  • Delivering and managing wholesale and other bulk orders
  • Lead a team of volunteers, including recruitment and training
  • Evaluate and track the successes, opportunities, and weaknesses of the program
  • Problem solve and share information, working in a team with other SEED staff and volunteers
