WHAT’S NEEDED- BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in print sourcing or a related role.
  • Higher Secondary or Vocational Education in Business, Print Procurement or related field.
  • Proficiency in print sourcing processes and industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of print product categories related to custom print manufacturing (e.g., envelopes, forms, digital print, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating costs.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills.

WHAT’S NEEDED- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years print project sourcing experience.
  • Knowledge of systems: Noosh/Staples omniSource, Salesforce.com, Staples Anything Eform, AS400, Commerce Hub.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI or database software.
  • Certification in supply chain management, production and/or procurement.
  • Experience with e-sourcing and procurement software.
Responsibilities
  • Gather information from sales and sales support to develop detailed specifications for various print product categories. Using these specifications, solicit bids and quote requests from qualified suppliers using the company designated processes and procurement tools.
  • Negotiate with Supplier partners to deliver the best pricing, solution, and value. Provide sales with proactive communication regarding the progress of quote requests while working within established deadlines.
  • Ability to describe specifications from samples provided by the requestor utilizing commonly used industry tools - ruler, micrometer, loop, paper swatches, and PMS books.
  • Procure finished goods and services for resale, utilizing established suppliers and/or contacting new suppliers as alternative sources of supply when needed. Provides alternatives when cost savings and/or better solutions can be realized.
  • Support internal partners as needed (Program Sourcing opportunities, Merchandising teams, Supply Chain teams). Support the NAD Business Unit.
  • Work closely with Sales support teams to resolve supplier and sales issues/concerns/requests post order.
  • Work with Sourcing Management to qualify/request new strategic suppliers. Works with Supplier Relations to address concerns/issues and possible removal of strategic suppliers from our database.
  • Work closely with Sourcing Management to proactively communicate with internal and external business partners.
