Description POSITION SUMMARY The Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEM)s for MRO market. This role involves analyzing market trends, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the procurement of high-quality tools at competitive prices. Supplier Identification and Evaluation: · Research and identify potential suppliers & OEMs. · Evaluate supplier capabilities, reliability, and quality standards. · Negotiation and Contracting. · Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers. · Draft and review contracts to ensure compliance with company policies. Market Analysis: · Monitor industry trends and market conditions for hand and power tools. · Analyze cost structures and recommend cost-saving opportunities. Collaboration: · Work closely with the procurement team to align sourcing strategies. · Collaborate with stakeholders to understand tool requirements. Quality Assurance: · Establish and monitor quality standards for products supplied. · Address and resolve any quality issues with suppliers & OEMs. Requirements COMPETENCIES · Attention to detail and accuracy · Problem solving and analytical skills · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Adaptability and process improvement mindset · Strong negotiation and contract management skills · Knowledge of market trends and cost structures for tools. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE · Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred · Proven experience as a Sourcing Analyst, preferably in the hand and power tools industry.
