Role Purpose This position plays a key role in driving data-driven procurement operations within DP World’s Procurement – Shared Services function. Reporting to the Manager, Contracts, this position is responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing process, from data extraction and RFP execution to contract negotiation and setup in Oracle Fusion. The role focuses on enhancing efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness across procurement categories by developing standardized processes, maintaining accurate contract data, and performing continuous spend and pricing analytics. It also supports regional and shared services initiatives, such as KPI tracking, reporting, and process optimization. The purpose of this is as follows: • Drive data-driven procurement by extracting purchasing insights, managing the full RFP process, and negotiating cost-effective contracts for operational categories. • Enhance efficiency and compliance through contract setup in Oracle Fusion, process standardization, SOP creation, and ongoing pricing and spend analytics. • Support regional initiatives with KPI reporting, shared services opportunities, and procurement coverage (local), ensuring consistent delivery of sourcing objectives. About the Role Data mining – extracting historical purchasing data for RFP purposes. Full RFP process, including negotiation, for identified operational categories. Contract and service item creation, including set up & user training in Oracle Fusion (as required) Process definition – i.e. punchout catalogues, vending solution, CLM, ARO shared services opportunities SOP creation – category procurement process Pricing, audit check (punchout), spend analytics, regional KPI tracking & actual against target reporting. SJ support & terminal buyer vacation relief Monthly reporting About You Qualifications and Experience A degree in business, MBA, operational management, logistics, engineering or another related field. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in full-cycle industrial procurement. Minimum 5 years’ experience with a unionized environment. Knowledge and Skills Excellent people management skills with well-formed motivational skills, including solid negotiation, influencing, change management and labour relations skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain good working relationships and achieve buy-in and ownership of quality standards/ initiatives with all departments and levels. Ability to articulate clearly. Strong data analytics and visualization skills, with proven experience in Microsoft Power BI for developing dashboards, tracking KPIs, and providing actionable procurement insights. Sound judgement and analytical thinking, which enable decision making, the ability to prioritize and manage timelines. Solid computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the proven ability to learn new systems quickly. Previous experience using Oracle Fusion and Maximo software would be beneficial.
