Description

Production Coordinator with 3+ years of import/global apparel production experience. Heavy communication and follow-up involved. Must have an apparel-related degree, computer literate (MS Office, Outlook, Word and Excel), must possess a sense of urgency and very detail oriented. Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Communicate daily with vendors and overseas office to track development and production statuses
  • Assist in maintaining Production Hit List for Weekly Meetings.
  • Data entry of Costing data and breakdowns in multiple systems.
  • Preparing packages for couriers, tracking couriers, open courier packages.
  • Follow up on submits and approvals.
  • Update order shipment summary for purchase order creation, item and color master logs.
  • Comment on, organize and file, as needed, bulk production submissions.
  • Salesman Samples: Communication, Track Status, Receive and Check-In Samples
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • BA or BFA in Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred or at least 3 years of product and apparel production experience
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in apparel production
  • Basic understanding of garment construction as well as technical knowledge of production
  • Understanding of garment construction as well as technical knowledge of production preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, primarily Excel & Outlook
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be proactive and possess the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Must have exceptional organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be proactive and possess the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Accustomed to a fast-paced environment
  • No job too small mentality
