What You'll Do Join our Global Sourcing team and play a central role in shaping how we deliver value across the enterprise. This role sits at the intersection of strategic sourcing, investment data, and stakeholder partnership, supporting critical business, technology, and investment outcomes. As a Sourcing Consultant focused on Market Data, you will help drive the sourcing, governance, and lifecycle management of complex third‑party data relationships. You’ll partner closely with internal leaders and external providers to balance innovation, risk, commercial rigor, and long‑term value. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong self‑awareness, a high degree of personal accountability, openness to feedback and learning, and the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders Strategic Sourcing & Category Management Partner with internal business, investment, technology, legal, compliance, and finance leaders to deliver best‑in‑class market data category management and strong business outcomes. Develop and execute sourcing strategies using total cost of ownership, internal insights, usage analysis, and market intelligence. Lead end‑to‑end strategic sourcing for medium to high‑complexity third‑party data needs. Drive supplier selection, demand and supply planning, contract development, and commercial negotiations. Vendor, Risk & Lifecycle Management Support the ongoing lifecycle management of market data suppliers, including onboarding, renewals, and run‑state operations. Assist with and support audit, compliance, risk management, and vendor governance initiatives across the category. Contribute to improving the quality, reliability, and efficiency of the systems and processes that support market data sourcing and administration. Help evolve sourcing, vendor management, and data governance best practices across the organization. Stakeholder Partnership & Communication Act as a trusted partner and connector across a highly diverse set of stakeholders, both internal and external. Clearly communicate complex commercial, operational, and risk considerations to non‑experts. Regularly share insights, assessments, and recommendations with senior partners and decision‑makers. Build strong, productive relationships grounded in transparency, credibility, and mutual accountability. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 2+ years of Market Data category sourcing experience, including working with providers such as Bloomberg, S&P, MSCI, or similar data and data‑broker firms. Experience partnering with internal stakeholders across business, technology, legal, compliance, and finance. Strong critical‑thinking skills and a data‑driven approach to decision‑making. Solid business and financial acumen with a continuous improvement mindset. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence, collaborate, and solve complex problems. Preferred Experience Experience with demand and supply planning, spend analysis, or supply chain mapping. Familiarity with COUPA or similar procurement platforms. Legal or contract negotiation experience. Interest in or experience using AI or automation to improve sourcing and operational efficiency. Background in investment data, capital markets, or financial services environments. To be considered for the Senior Consultant level, candidates will have 3+ years of Market Data category sourcing experience, including working with providers such as Bloomberg, S&P, MSCI, or similar data and data‑broker firms. Work Environments This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, Charlotte, NC, and Raleigh, NC). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors. Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Grand Island, NE / Wichita, KS: Sourcing Consultant: $84,600 - $105,000 / year Senior Sourcing Consultant: $104,4000 - $135,000 / year Des Moines, IA / Tampa, FL: Sourcing Consultant: $89,300 - $105,000 / year Senior Sourcing Consultant: $110,2000 - $135,000 / year Charlotte, NC / Dallas, TX: Sourcing Consultant: $94,000 - $105,000 / year Senior Sourcing Consultant: $116,000 - $135,000/ year Chicago, IL / Denver, CO / Minneapolis, MN: Sourcing Consultant: $103,400 - $105,000 / year Senior Sourcing Consultant: $127,600 - $135,000 / year Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
