Purpose Statement: Responsible for collaborating with Supply Chain and Customers in order to drive lowest total cost of ownership sourcing solutions for assigned commodities within Custom Engineered Components (CEC) sourcing organization. Key Job Accountabilities: Perform technical review of parts to ensure manufacturability dependent on supplier technology, tolerances, materials, and cosmetic specification. Work directly with the Material Costing and Commodity Management teams to provide guidance on supplier selection. Identify technology gaps within current supplier portfolio based on RFQ insight or strategic business direction. Provide technical expertise and support to business units to ensure product meets customer timelines. Education/Experience Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with 2 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered. Other Qualifications: Procurement, supply chain, distribution, and logistics competence Strong experience driving KPIs Demonstrated commodity management expertise Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization Strong data analysis and Decision-making capabilities Continuous improvement mindset Project management experience Physical Requirements: Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
