The mission of Animal Health is to improve the quality of life for animals. Animal Health manufactures and markets in-house developed medicines as well as numerous generic drugs for both companion and livestock animals. We are committed to making daily life healthier and less stressful for both animals and the people who care for them.
We produce and distribute over 300 veterinary medicines and are present in over 100 markets around the world servicing the needs of our customers in both the companion animal and livestock sectors. Our manufacturing and supply chain operations are located in France and Belgium.
Animal health is a diverse team of over 300 professionals, based in 13 countries across Europe and Vietnam. We operate as one unified team, bringing together expertise from various departments including Sales, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain, R&D, Quality Management, HR, Finance, and IT. Responsibilities

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sourcing Manager to join our team.
In your role as a Sourcing Manager, you would ensure product availability and cost competitiveness by leading the supplier relationship process within your supplier portfolio. Driving continuous improvement throughout the supply chain process and optimising end-to-end supply chain efficiency would be part of your responsibilities. With your contribution, you would ensure that service level, total cost and launch targets are achieved. This involves both operational and managerial tasks related to the supplier relationships. Also, you would work in close relationship with AH Business Manager, Pet Health Care for sourcing new suppliers and/or pet products.
You would report to the Head of External Supply Operations, Animal Health Products.
The position is a fixed-term assignment for two-years, and is based in Espoo or Turku, Finland. The work requires some travelling abroad but mainly you work in the office or remotely (hybrid work possibility).

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You manage a selected supplier base in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • You manage the supply, availability and profitability of the products.
  • You support new business opportunities, secure on-time launches and contribute to projects.
  • You plan and lead strategic actions and risk management activities with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.You collaborate with several internal stakeholders such as business, quality, product lifecycle management, regulatory affairs and packaging technology.
