  • 8 - 10 years of managerial experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain.
  • Advanced English proficiency.

STRONG PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP SKILLS.

  • Demonstrated success in implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience with SAP.
  • Familiarity with Power BI.
  • PMO certification or experience.
  • Experience working with U.S. and Mexico-based manufacturing plants.
  • Availability to travel up to 10% (valid U.S. visa required).
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a results-driven Sourcing Project Managerto lead the execution of strategic procurement and productivity initiatives across our manufacturing footprint in Mexico and the United States. This newly created role will serve as a key liaison between corporate and plant operations, driving cost savings, supplier optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Sourcing Project Manager , you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading multiple procurement and sourcing projects focused on cost reduction and operational efficiency.
  • Implementing sourcing strategies to achieve price productivity targets across the Americas region.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams (commodities, engineering, operations, finance, quality, and field teams) to ensure successful project execution.
  • Supporting commodity teams in defining project charters, expected benefits, and resource requirements.
  • Monitoring project progress, resolving roadblocks, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Managing project documentation including schedules, business cases, and risk assessments.
  • Delivering executive-level presentations for project approvals and monthly updates.
  • Identifying performance gaps and supporting corrective actions to exceed targets.
  • Contributing to the Annual Operating Plan for productivity initiatives.
  • Leading supplier rationalization efforts in alignment with sourcing strategies.
