WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

This is an exciting opportunity for a sourcing specialist to assist to the long-term sourcing strategy of the Bank through the development sourcing strategies which bring value and drive procurement efficiency.
This role involves identifying and evaluating suppliers to ensure quality and compliance, handling requests for proposals and quotations to facilitate bidding, and supporting contract discussions and administration to safeguard the bank’s interests.

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL;

  • Conduct research to identify potential suppliers and capture data on their capabilities, pricing, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist in evaluating supplier proposals and conducting due diligence to ensure alignment with the bank’s requirements.
  • Prepare and manage sourcing documentation such as RFP documentation.
  • Analyse supplier RFP responses and compile comparison reports to support decision-making.
  • Support the negotiation and drafting of supplier contracts and ensure they are accurately detailed and maintained in the procurement system.
  • Assist in running day-to-day supplier interactions and resolving issues that arise.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of supplier contact information and performance metrics.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new supplier offerings.

Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply for this role;

  • Knowledge in a relevant field such as Business Admin, Supply Chain management or Finance
  • A professional qualification in Procurement is desirable e.g., CPSM, CIPs IIPMM
