    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain / Logistics / Business / Engineering or Related Field

    Responsibilities

    As a member of the regional sourcing center of excellence (COE), the Senior Sourcing Specialist plays a key operational role in a regional/multi-site setting supporting day-to-day activities across multiple sites for MSA. Specifically, this position will focus on facilitating the tactical operations of the sourcing team and processes, as well as support of the bidding process for direct goods and will work to mitigate, or elevate where necessary, supplier quality, cost, and operational issues, focusing on continues improvement around specific direct categories in the region. The incumbent will provide operational support to regional and global teams as needed, particularly in handling sourcing request, managing data entry and system updates, and managing accuracy of supplier records. The incumbent must demonstrate knowledge of sourcing, purchasing, data analysis and supplier/business partner relationship management.
    Responsibilities:

    Category Management Support

    • Analyze forecasted shifts in supply markets, industry trends and supplier economic cycles.
    • Segment suppliers in accordance with defined strategy.
    • Follow environmentally- and ethically-sound procurement practices of contracted goods and services which includes compliance with corporate and departmental policies and procedures as well as federal, state and local regulations.
