At Modern Stone Age Kitchen, we do things differently—and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to be part of that difference.
This is not your typical bakery job. We’re a 100% scratch-made, wild-fermented sourdough operation that never uses industrial seed oils, refined sugars, or shortcuts. Everything we make—from our wild-fermented laminated pastries to our sourdough cookies and seasonal specialties—is rooted in nutritional integrity, ancestral techniques, and ingredient transparency.
We’re expanding and need a skilled and motivated Pastry Chef & Sourdough Sweet Lead to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who understands dough, values fermentation, and wants to be part of a mission-driven business redefining what a modern bakery can be.
Please note: This position oversees all wild-fermented sweet sourdough production—including laminated pastries, cookies, and other seasonal items—but does not manage the bread program. You’ll work closely with and report directly to our Sourdough Bread Manager.
