We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in a full-time capacity.
About the role
Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will be second in command in the kitchen and play a key role in delivering our signature dishes to the highest standard. · Contribute to the development of daily specials and seasonal menus.
· Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage costs.
· Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and WHS requirements.
· Train and mentor apprentices and junior chefs.
About you
· AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
· Minimum 2 years’ recent experience as a qualified chef, with senior kitchen leadership experience preferred.
· Strong knowledge of Hungarian and European cuisine.
· Excellent organisational and time management skills.
· Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
· Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
What we offer
