THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our team and lead the kitchen during the day service. You will work closely with the Head Chef to manage prep, service, and team leadership across brunch and lunch.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee day service Wednesday–Sunday, ensuring food quality, speed, and presentation standards are met
  • Support the Head Chef in daily operations, menu execution, and specials development
  • Lead and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing training and feedback
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment in line with food safety standards
  • Manage prep schedules to ensure service runs smoothly
  • Assist with ordering, stock control, and minimising wastage
  • Step up to cover Head Chef duties when required
