NEW DOJA TEAS EXPANSION INTO PORTLAND (DOJA TEA ROOM) LOOKING FOR A RESPONSIBLE AND EXPERIENCED SOUS CHEF TO LEAD OUR AFTERNOON TEA SERVICE.

Responsible for: The Sous Chef - Afternoon Tea is responsible for executing our afternoon tea service with a small support team. You will prepare and execute these menus while upholding excellence in standard kitchen practices.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL SET:

  • Maintain compliance in food beverage and safety regulations
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask when presented with multiple projects
  • Demonstrate a positive and adaptable attitude
  • Passion for preparing delicious food and providing exceptional customer service

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years in the culinary arts - preferably in banquet events, catering or country-club event execution
  • Physical Demands: Requires walking, standing and sitting to monitor all areas of the property. Requires ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
