Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production.
  • Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times in accordance with regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
  • Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery during busy periods.
  • Help maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
