Ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We’re looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join our talented team at Keogh Barracks. With a busy kitchen and a vibrant service to deliver, you’ll play a key role in leading the brigade, supporting the Head Chef, and ensuring every dish is exceptional. Working alongside the armed forces and to cater for high-ranking officers and to help with dinner nights and a family orientated mess. What You’ll Do: Lead kitchen operations when the Head Chef is away. Prepare dishes to spec, following recipe sheets and allergen guidelines. Manage food production, reduce waste, and maintain stock control. Receive and store deliveries using FIFO procedures. Allocate tasks and mentor the kitchen team. Maintain hygiene standards and oversee deep cleans. Ensure all team members are trained and compliant. What We’re Looking For: UK residency for the past 3 years and legal right to work. Ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks. Relevant culinary qualification and at least 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP. Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
