Working with the Head Chef, you will assist with the preparation and delivery of services, with a passion for quality food and high standards of hospitality. This is a great oportunity to be part of a new kitchen team and showcase your culinary skills and creativity.
The hourly rate for this role is £17.00

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in managing matchday and events kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking and plating, to meet quality and service standards
  • Supervise kitchen staff in the absence of the Head Chef, providing guidance, instruction, and support to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Ensure that all food preparation and cooking is done in accordance of the procedures and guidance of the Food Safety Management system
  • Coordinate with the Head Chef in monitoring inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed, and managing food costs to optimise profitability while minimising waste
  • Oversee the preparation of ingredients, ensuring accuracy, freshness, and proper handling in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Assist in training and mentoring kitchen staff, providing feedback and coaching to foster skill development and enhance performance
  • Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute matchday hospitality service, events, promotions, coordinating kitchen activities and menu offerings as required
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, including equipment, workstations, and storage areas, to uphold Health & Safety standards.
