JUNIOR SOUS CHEF – £27,000 P.A. + COMPANY BONUS SCHEME.
Artemis are looking for a passionate Junior Sous Chef for Bassmead Manor Barns to work alongside our team, leading from the front in what is a hands on position, cooking the finest food using fresh ingredients. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, have a passion for good food and service, calm under pressure and be able to work in a small team. Experience in banqueting and or weddings up to 200 covers, together with a strong background in food led establishments.

REQUIREMENTS-
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position and used to providing meals for up to 200 covers using fresh ingredients
· A proven track record, with good references to support your CV
· An understanding of HACCP from ordering, delivery checks, temperature recording and general management duties required for such a position
· Good communication skills
· Own transport is essential due to the location
· Candidates must be eligible to work full-time in the UK.
· The ability to work with our allergens policy and kitchen management package
· The ability to be hands on with all aspects of working in a busy kitchen in order to maintain the highest standards of food preparation, food presentation and cleanliness
· Managing your time effectively
· Managing our Checkit food recording through the portal (full training given)
