Schedule and Compensation: Full-Time Position Hours: 2 shifts available 6:00AM-2:30PM OR 11:00AM- 7:30PM every other weekend and every other holiday are required No late nights! Pay Rate: $22.00/hour Job Description Oversee and support line cooks in synchronizing food procurement and other food preparation tasks, ensuring labor and cost control goals are not exceeded Read and follow recipes – prepare and cook hot and cold food items Ensure proper handling of all food products and equipment is maintained, to ensure food safety and kitchen standards are adhered to at all times Ensure cleanliness and high sanitation standards are always maintained in all areas Daily use of appropriate PPE for the task assigned and train staff Qualifications Requires a culinary degree/education or equivalent experience ServeSafe Manager and RAMP Certifications required or be willing to obtain in 30 days Requires at least 3 years of culinary experience (fine dining preferred) Specific business experience with older adults or in the retirement housing industry preferred.
