Sous Chef - Assistant Culinary Manager
Salary $55,000-$60,000 DOE

The Sea Dog Brewing Co. is seeking a qualified Assistant Culinary Kitchen Manager for immediate hire at our brewpub in North Conway, NH. This opportunity will provide new Sous chefs to our team with on-the-job training and ample room to grow professionally in our company.   • Assist the Head Chef in all kitchen functions including food preparation, upholding excellent quality standards, staff training, menu updates and specials creation, facility maintenance, sanitation and cleanliness.
  • Ensures that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and service time standards.
  • Maintain a positive, professional and safe working environment for all employees.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as Lead Cook, Assistant Kitchen Managewr, or Sous Chef
  • Understands various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, etc.
  • Excellent record of kitchen and staff management
  • Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions
