We are now seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to help lead the team at our Fodder restaurant in Avoca Ballsbridge.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Sous Chef, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef and front-of-house team to deliver a consistently exceptional experience. You’ll take pride in upholding Avoca’s high culinary standards and bring your creativity, leadership, and attention to detail to every service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Kitchen Leadership: Support the Head Chef in managing a motivated and efficient kitchen team.
Menu Innovation: Contribute to seasonal menu development using fresh, local, and sustainable ingredients.
Food Quality: Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to an excellent standard.
HACCP Compliance: Maintain rigorous food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring all procedures align with EHO regulations.
Stock Management: Implement FIFO practices and maintain well-organised storage areas.
Team Development: Inspire a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability
