Azura is an Aegean restaurant, bar and terrace with dishes and cocktails inspired from Greece and Turkey. We have devoted ourselves in creating a unique experience combining dining and entertainment in the heart of London.
The restaurant boasts 140 covers across 2 floors, a VIP terrace and an alfresco garden.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to food safety. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring that high standards of food quality and presentation are maintained. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising staff.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Handle any customer complaints or feedback regarding food quality or service.
