OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in restaurant management and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes. As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and food handling practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and other departments.

  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure proper food handling techniques are followed.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies.
  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service during meal periods.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet guest expectations.
