JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and restaurant management, with the ability to create exceptional dishes that delight our guests. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
  • Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing restaurant operations is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety standards.
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

  • Develop and prepare innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste through effective food handling practices.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with bartending duties as needed, creating signature cocktails that complement menu offerings.
  • Foster a positive work environment by encouraging teamwork and open communication among staff.
